We are excited to share the successful completion of our Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) training series, for ActionAid The Gambia project beneficiaries. The final session wrapped up on August 1, 2025, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to support CSOs’ mission to empower youth across The Gambia.

This training brought together 77 participants—38 males and 39 females—from four regions: Central River Region (CRR), Lower River Region (LRR), North Bank Region (NBR), and Upper River Region (URR). Over the course of two sessions, participants were introduced to the foundational principles of human rights, including how to recognize their rights, claim them, and hold duty bearers accountable.

The engagement was designed not only to educate but to inspire active citizenship among young people. By equipping them with this knowledge, ActionAid is contributing to the development of more informed, empowered communities capable of advocating for social justice and systemic change. And CivicClout Consulting is excited to have offered its expertise.

We are grateful to ActionAid The Gambia for trusting our capacity to deliver on this important initiative, and we especially acknowledge the leadership of Alhagie S Nyang, our founder whose facilitation guided the success of each training.
